Merger proposal[edit]

I propose that Gas laws be merged into Gas. I think that the content in the Gas laws article can easily be explained in the context of Gas, and the Gas article is of a reasonable size in which the merging of Foo will not cause any problems as far as article size or undue weight is concerned. (just testing an alternative presentation)

Usually expressed as:

PV = nRT

in full:

pressure × volume = amount of the material × temperature × constant

in SI units:

pascals × litres = moles × Kelvin × constant

should this page & others similar be merged & redirected to Equations of state?

I would say Yes for this page. I'm not sure which others you mean. I would not merge the Equations of state/History page into this page. -- Matt Stoker

If you really want to use SI units, volume should be in cubic meters. --Matt Stoker
