Body weight[edit]

I removed " The body weight is approximately 1 milligram." I dont believe that. Can anyone confirm the body weight of this fish ? —Soap— 04:35, 23 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Okay there are apparently some really thin fish out there but since this article specifically says it is thicker than others I still think we should find more info. —Soap— 06:28, 23 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

For perspective, one cubic millimeter of water weighs 1 milligram. We can assume fish roughly have about the same density as water or else they wouldnt be able to swim in it. So this fish would have to be much thinner than 1 millimeter wide in order to weigh 1 milligram, perhaps as thin as 1/8 of a millimeter (if you figure roughly 8 * 1 * 1/8 = 1). I was suspicious because it says in the article that this fisj is chubby, but there are pictures on the Internet which show they are so thin that they are partly translucent. —Soap— 22:44, 26 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
