Something[edit]

This article - although fine as general info - is filled with wrong links, leading not to the bands they are aimed to... Chac-Mool, Jorge Reyes, Nuevo Mexico, Cosa Nostra... Can someone (with more knowledge of the Mexcican rock scene than me)please take care of this? --Cb007 21:52, 24 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I think that Los Angeles Negroes is not the correct spelling, should be Los Angeles Negros.

Also in the very end should be mentioned bands from sudamerica as Enanitos Verdes, Soda Stereo Miguel Mateos and Charlie Garcia that came in the movement "Rock in tu idioma" at the same time that the spanish bands. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.82.88.187 (talk) 06:38, 29 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This article is in desperate need for an overhaul. It is definitely POV and so biased it should not be taken serious as an article, especially on the government's role. There's no denying that the government put some curbs on Mexican pop music for a short while, but they did not ban Rock outright; nor did they ban foreign acts like Queen (who crossed Mexico more than once since 1981) from touring into the country. If it were the latter, why were all these LPS found in Mexican stores not withdrawn from circulation? Batmen (talk) 18:04, 23 February 2008 (UTC)Bixby, 23 February 2008[reply]

Image removal...[edit]

Hi, I removed Maná Sueños Líquidos cover small.jpg from this article as it's copyrighted and the image was not discussed anywhere in the article and thus can't qualify for fair use. ++Lar: t/c 22:54, 20 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Overall editing[edit]

Hi, I'm trying to restructure this page so that its easier to navigate. I changed it to decades but I think I'm going to try again and categorize by genre within rock (alternative, metal, etc.). — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mmunderwood (talkcontribs) 19:31, 9 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Pop singers in the article[edit]

Why to add images of Alejandra Guzman and Gloria Trevi in the article? Yes, while Alejandra Guzman was considered The Rock Princess (due to be the daughter of rock pioneer Enrique Guzman) she never was a rock singer, and Gloria Trevi was never considered a rocker.

=British invasion?[edit]

The title where is mentioned the invasion of Spanish and Argentine bands is called British Invasion. I think I will work on improve this article.
