My name is Gísli Valgeirsson. I was born in Keflavík, Iceland on November 8, 1984. I'm currently taking a break from the University of Iceland, and work in a shipyard in Njarðvík
I edit Wikipedia rather sporadically, due to a short attention span and a busy schedule. When the mood strikes me, I tend to edit either music-related pages, or some obscure historical figures. I have a particular weakness for WWII articles.
I read rather a lot, and devour anything by Douglas Adams, Iain Banks, Terry Pratchett, Robert Rankin or China Miéville, thus single-handedly disproving the popular notion that anyone who reads a lot must automatically be cultured and well-informed.
Mainly, though, I play guitar - A Line 6 Variax 500, to be precise. My musical tastes are exhaustively documented here. I play lead guitar for the super-obscure [insert genre here] band Killer Bunny (Yes, it's a stupid name. Do you wanna take it outside?). Feel free to download some of our songs:
