Finland[edit]

Finland's status as a "neutral" is an euphemism at best. She was at the brink of being taken over by domestic communists supported by the victors of the Continuation War. It may be theoretically true, but if so, it's a misleading factoid, as it emphasizes less relevant information but supresses the more relevant.

Furthermore, even factoid on a "declaration of war" may be true - or not - but as the relevant link to the Lapland War is missing, and as the relevant dates for the war (September 19th for the commitment, November for start of hot combats, April for conclusion) are omitted (there is, admittedly, not much space) the result of these strange notions is nothing but confusion for the reader.

In any case, it's hard to understand why such informations are omitted in the relevant article.

Favre[edit]

Mount Rushmore March 3 correction needed[edit]

Women Against Pornography, Pig Award, might be incorrect day[edit]

This AP article in the St. Petersburg Evening Independent, describing the Pig Award event as held the night before, was dated Saturday, March 2, 1985 http://news.google.com/newspapers?id=M-4LAAAAIBAJ&sjid=X1kDAAAAIBAJ&pg=7054,452535&dq=women+against+pornography+pig+award which would have the event on Friday,March 1,1985. No other documents are readily available. 1974 Event: Roman Catholic and Lutheran...[edit]

Maybe I'm missing the boat on this one, but I can't find any information pertaining to the 1974 event:

Roman Catholic and Lutheran officials reach an agreement for eventual reconciliation into one communion, marking the first agreement between the two churches since the Reformation

That is to say, I can't find anything except on "This Day in History" sites.

Possible correction needed for the March 3 entry of 1820 (Missouri Compromise)[edit]

The entry "1820 – The U.S. Congress passes the Missouri Compromise." is on the page for March 3. However, when clicking on the link for "Missouri Compromise" ([Compromise]), that page states that the Missouri Compromise was passed by the 16th United States Congress on May 8, 1820"

Clearly one of the two is in error. However there are no citations on either entry.

Hopefully, someone with sufficient research skills can make the appropriate correction.
