                   What Herb Powell does NOT want
                       the SIMPSON's to find out

    Nothing too scandalous, I assure you, but delightfully outrageous.

    You see, as mentioned in his brief Bio, Herb does sound A LOT like Louie DePalma, who was/is and always will be Danny DeVito.
  But what You may not know is that Herb has a secret family life A RELATIVELY freaky situation.    
     Herb has never told the Simpson's that he used to be a 'TAXI' dispatcher. But, what's more...he never told the Simpson's that LOUIE had a brother, which by connection, would make that brother Homer's other brother and Bart, Lisa and Maggie's other uncle. Now, if you've seen the film MAN ON THE MOON, you will be screaming in a minute, as will the cast of The Simpson's. However,after a moment's consideration, this will start to make sense. 

    See, Bart Simpson's other uncle is (excuse me, I had to sneeze) anyway, Bart's other uncle is.........
                     TONY CLIFTON.       

   D'OH!!!!!!

    If you consider Bart Simpson's history, though, that scenario makes a lot of sense. However, if you happen to be Bart's mother, (Marge) your hair has just fallen out in one huge hairy clump. Grampa's in the hospital (heart attack) and Ned Flanders, Principal Skinner, Mrs Crabapple and Rev. Lovejoy are threatening to leap into Springfield Gorge. 
    Biz-zare, but true, in the most characteristic sense of the word. PLEASE feel free to pass this info Nancy Cartright and James L. Brooks. No, on second thought...I'm sure Mr. Brooks already knows.

   Wonder how Patti and Selma will take the news?

   If you're wondering HOW I came to that conclusion, well, it was simple. See, Andy (Kaufman) made Tony part of his Taxi contract, so Louie's brother was created for Tony. And while he (Tony) never ended up doing the show, he was the reason Louie, as I said, has a brother. 
  While most kids have their parents to thank (or blame) for having a brother or sister, Louie DePalma has his GARAGE MECHANIC to thank and blame. And, Since both Taxi and The Simpson's are connected to Jim Brooks...you get the picture. 

    Anywho, I hope you can post this page. It's an interesting bit of trivia and a great laugh. 

    My sides are still hurtin'.
