"Local" section[edit]

This looks a lot like a self-promotion of a family business. It has already been tagged for lack of sources. I want to give the editor time to come up with some sources, and to make an argument here for the importance of the section. I suggest the person who put this in read the following:

WP:NOTADVERTISING
WP:PRIMARY (info on the kinds of sources you need - I would look for a news story on the store)
WP:CHEAT for a quick lesson on how to do links and stuff

"Local" Section 2[edit]

After having a few days to think about it, the section needs to be largely removed. It is about a single-store retail business, and therefore has issues with both WP:NOTADVERTISING and WP:NOTE. I did find a single Wiki quality source naming it as the largest furniture store in Alabama, adn it appears to possibly merit a passing reference in the article. The family history, and that of the store, does not meet WP:NOTE standards. As I added a "local attractions" section, I gave the store a sourced reference there, and a link. Image copyright problem with Image:Nsheadlogo.png[edit]

The image Image:Nsheadlogo.png is used in this article under a claim of fair use, but it does not have an adequate explanation for why it meets the requirements for such images when used here. In particular, for each page the image is used on, it must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Please check

Added to Lead and article[edit]

Added to Lead about history, including Cherokee town, and influences on growth to early 21st century. Also added to article to explain Maj. [[John Norton]'s parents, especially his Cherokee father raised in England, and his own journey in North America. Noted the ruins of Ft.
