Hi Lst27, thanks for the nice welcome message.. --Papeschr 18:15, 10 Oct 2004 (UTC)

blah[edit]

Thanks for reverting my user page! VV 02:56, 6 Oct 2004 (UTC)

Thanks for wathcing out for vandalism. However, as you are not a sysop at the moment, it's potentially misleading of you to use templates like Template:Test4. If you could avoid, in the future, threatening bans and blocks, that would be cool. Snowspinner 03:36, Oct 6, 2004 (UTC)

Ok. Thanks for the suggestion. :-) --John Kerry + John Edwards 2004 22:23, 6 Oct 2004 (UTC)

mistake[edit]

it's your mistake!!!!Where is my vandalism????

Protest Warrior[edit]

Done. Oh, and just a note--I'd be very careful about using that signature; it doesn't really create an appearance of NPOV, and might give the wrong ideas to new editors. Just a suggestion, [[User:Meelar|Meelar (talk)]] 16:24, Oct 10, 2004 (UTC)

Wikipedia doesn't require nor expect everyone to be able to look neutrally on each and every issue. That goes against the very concept of a point of view. But I agree Lst's signature may be somewhat confusing and off topic. — David Remahl 16:27, 10 Oct 2004 (UTC)

Welcoming committee[edit]

Hi, I got your note. I'd certainly be interested in joining the Welcoming committee, as I really appreciated the welcome I got when I joined. There's one thing I've often wondered though: how do the members of the welcoming committee find out about new members? I often see a ream of welcome messages showing up on recent changes, where someone obviously hasn't just noticed a new user, but has got some list of them. Is there a special list of new users anywhere, or do dedicated welcomers use some database mojo to get a list, or something else? Rory 18:37, Oct 10, 2004 (UTC)

Thanks for the reply. I've added myself to the list of members. Rory 08:17, Oct 11, 2004 (UTC)

Hi Alex. I wanted to ask if you know what source you got Image:040123theisinger.jpg from. In order to use the image, whether it's fair use or under the GFDL, we need to know where it came from. If you can track down the information, then we won't need to delete the image. --Michael Snow 04:13, 12 Oct 2004 (UTC)

your message to me[edit]

Who's still a novice Wikipedian? I'm not a Californian. Why are you amazed this place works? Please be clearer in your messages in future. Thank you. --Shlomital 14:26, 2004 Oct 15 (UTC)

thanks for welcome[edit]

Dear Alex, Thanks for the welcome. You are most gracious. Having an interest in the filioque question, especially for it ecumenical import for Catholics and Orthodox, I set out immediately to edit the page. I think now this was rash and imprudent, because I know so little about Wikipedia and what would be proper etiquette. I could document the rationale for my factual corrections of the page but don't yet know how to do this. Your advice would be appreciated. My email is acp@acpress.org. My name is Michael Gilligan. My user id is MichaelG. I would also like to thank those who rightly found fault with my work and offered corrections. I have done my best to implement all these ideas in the latest revision of "filioque." MG

No problem it seemed a bit odd that this guy was pumping out articles left and right. THanks for helping me deal with it 578 21:21, 24 Oct 2004 (UTC)

Thanks for the welcome[edit]

Thanks so much for welcoming me to Wikipedia! It now suddenly feels like I belong, or something... bah, ignore me. I can't write anything coherent when I haven't eaten all day. Anyway, thanks for the welcome, and... *hides under a chair* Mo0 23:06, 24 Oct 2004 (UTC)
