GB Captaincy

Contrary to what is says on many Web sites, David Watkins did not captain Great Britain at rugby league. In his six appearances for GB (four of which were from the bench), the captains were as follows:

GB v France 17/3/71 Doug Laughton

GB v Australia 1/12/73 Clive Sullivan

GB v France 20/1/74 Doug Laughton

GB v France 17/2/74 Doug Laughton
