I don't think there should be an emphasis put on "consumer electronics". I understand there is some validity to the term but isn't the real difference between consumer electronics and (non-consumer) electronics just marketing (and a few gimmiks)? Chendy 23:58, 21 May 2007 (UTC)
I understant the term consumer electronics in wide rank. Think of this term, I think about electronic product suppliers who can offer me equipment I may need. That why I think we should add more detail categories so that members can have more chances to share things together. If we just limit in general words, there will be inconvenience. For example, I am interested in Cameras, how can I know the website www.Schoolhouseelectronics.com and lots of other pages giving information about cameras if no one finds category Cameras to share opinions and contribute knowledge. So I hope we can have terms in detail for us to post and make our knowledge spread. Nhunguyen[reply]
