Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Dissemination (0th nomination)

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Dissemination was proposed for deletion. This page is an archive of the discussion about the proposed deletion. This page is no longer live. Further comments should be made on the article's talk page rather than here so that this page is preserved as an historic record. The result of the debate was Transwiki to Wiktionary if not already there.

Pretty sure this is too much of a dictionary definition. I found it through "Deadend Pages." --April kathleen 19:47, 5 Aug 2004 (UTC)

  • Delete for dictdef. The external links here are interesting, but quite esoteric. Geogre 20:38, 5 Aug 2004 (UTC)
  • Keep. Someone who actually knows something (ie. not me) should contribute something originial to this. I agree it is rather much like a dictionary entry. Doesn't Wikipedia have a dictionary project?? Jaberwocky6669 22:53, Aug 5, 2004 (UTC)
    • So you're voting transwiki to Wiktionary? I thought of that, but the Wiktionary folks don't have a VfD page, themselves. If we transwiki, it just goes in. I didn't vote for a transwiki, myself, because this term is very common, and they are almost certain to have an entry already. Geogre 00:12, 6 Aug 2004 (UTC)
    • I don't even know what transwiki is! You make a good point about them having it already though. Jaberwocky6669 01:58, Aug 6, 2004 (UTC)
  • transwiki to wiktionary, or merge there, etc. -- Jmabel 03:47, Aug 7, 2004 (UTC)
