Good luck!

Hi, and welcome! Good work on Fifty Million Frenchmen! A couple of minor points: signatures like mentioned above are used for signing comments on talk pages, not in articles. (You can see who wrote what in an article by clicking on "page history".) Also, the agreed upon format for the external links at the bottom of the page is "==External links==". Westerly: A couple of interrelated issues[edit]

Hello again. I see your Westerly article, and I also notice the article Westerly (town), Rhode Island. This brings up a couple of questions and points:

1) I assume they are talking about the same place? If so we can merge the content into one article. 2) Note that the convention for towns and cities in the United States here in Wikipedia is to have the state name in the article title (eg, Atlanta, Georgia). 3) Is the title "Westerly (town), Rhode Island" really necessary to distinguish the town from something else called "Westerly" in Rhode Island? If not, I'd suggest moving everything to the title "Westerly, Rhode Island".

Tell me what you think either on Talk:Westerly (town), Rhode Island. If you think my suggested merging of content is appropriate, move your text from "Westerly" into the "Westerly (town), Rhode Island" article.

If you agree that "Westerly, Rhode Island" would be a better title (or if you have other suggestions) let me know. I can take care of moving the page title. Understand that we have "redirects" that can automatically take anyone from one title to another (see that article on redirects if you wish to find out more or learn how to do this yourself).

Sorry to be bothering you with so much when your new here, but as you seem to know something about Westerly, Rhode Island, I thought you'd have valuable input on the best way to do this. Best wishes, -- Infrogmation 15:52, 20 Aug 2004 (UTC)
