Bennington (town), VermontBennington, Vermont

The (town) at the end of the title of this article is not necessary. Any minimal confusion that exists between the town's article and the CDP within the town is easily cleared up at the dab page, which is prominently featured at the top of the town article. The town is the obvious primary usage over the CDP, and does not need to be marked with (town). Raime 04:27, 24 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • Support Towns in New England should always have prominence over CDPs, particularly when the CDP merely refers to the town center. --Polaron | Talk 05:14, 24 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support; the target form is intended for municipalities; the CDP is not equivalent usage. Septentrionalis PMAnderson 16:25, 24 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • Support, since Bennington, Vermont already redirects to Bennington (town). ●DanMSTalk 00:18, 25 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
