I've noticed that Wikipedia doesn't have a great section on snowmobiles; the main snowmobile page is a good introduction, but the details are lacking. However, I'm not an expert in this area; I just added this page because I wanted to create an article (it's really my first new article), and because I used to ride them with my family years ago. I pieced together the history of the Phazer from the Yamaha website; the years I gave for the ending of the product lines come from the parts catalogue found on the site http://parts.yamaha-motor.com, by checking which year the name disappears from the line-up. Yamaha Phazer IS AWESOME[edit]
I am a big fan of yamaha but the EX is rather poo , The EX is a crud sled and has a very great weekness it is called the Yamaha Phazer Mainly the DKF model , it eats EX and Shytes ET , not the extra terestrial but the Enticer snowmobile , there was some good ones made but the ET 300 was the best , But , the best was the 1979 , which dominated everything except the PZ and especially blew away the 1978 EX , and who ever has an 1978 EX should just give up and get something fast and relieable like a SRX, Well any who i thought some one on this site would like my thoughts PEACE PA!
