The word[edit]
In the interests of a standard system for names and terms in Hinduism, I suggest that this article be renamed to Bhagavan. It's an ancient term, but the present form is a transliteration from a modern language, Hindi probably, I'm not certain. Imc 10:54, 2 December 2005 (UTC)
