  • Oppose. From a Google search it looks like Galiteuthis glacialis is also sometimes called the "glacial squid". In that circumstance it's preferable to use the unambiguous scientific name.  — Amakuru (talk) 09:43, 11 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose Scientific name is more commonly used than "glacial squid" (which is also a vernacular name for a different species). Plantdrew (talk) 03:08, 14 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
