"return to monke"[edit]

this is probably the first time i've seen meme culture roughly embrace the an-prim ideology-could a cultural references section perhaps discuss this? Or is it too vague to count?

They forgot Nomadism[edit]

Where is the nomadism, which happened before agriculture? 162.19.214.203 (talk) 04:41, 31 March 2023 (UTC) I'm mirzafetaliahundov account without login. I'm using vpn.[reply]

Synthesis and unreliable sources[edit]

This article is rather heavy on novel synthesis, a lot of the text doesn't appear to have any relevance to the subject. It seems like much of it is just grabbing examples of anthropologists saying "hunter-gatherers were cool" and running with that, its relevance to "anarcho-primitivism" is just inferred, not elaborated in either the text or the cited sources. The parts that are more clearly related to the subject largely consist of self-published anarchist blog posts and pamphlets. This article needs work. -- Grnrchst (talk) 11:16, 31 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I've managed to get rid of all the synth, but the remainder largely consists of text cited to questionable sources, so I added a bibliography of more clearly reliable sources so the article can be improved in the future. Grnrchst (talk) 13:02, 31 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Based on those sources, would it be sufficient to cover this topic within green anarchism? czar 15:48, 31 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I don't think so. Anarcho-primitivism is clearly notable enough to warrant its own article. Half of those sources are specifically about primitivism and might easily end up outweighing other parts of the green anarchism article if merged. -- Grnrchst (talk) 16:31, 31 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Which of the sources do you think are the best for rebuilding the article? The current version doesn't seem salvageable. czar 04:45, 6 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I agree, the current version isn't good. I think the best place to start rebuilding it would be with el-Ojeili & Taylor 2020. -- Grnrchst (talk) 08:54, 6 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
