I think so. "Vedic" apparently relates to the Vedas or Vedic civilization. Alternatively this one could be renamed to "Vedic culture" or something. ( 00:03, 12 Nov 2003 (UTC)

I merged it into Vedic civilization. The later could always be split again later if it became too large ( 10:48, 12 Nov 2003 (UTC)

Complicated disambiguation[edit]

I would think that there is either an article pending, or a need to revisit the complexity of this page, or how to set it up. I know nothing about the subject matter, and this page does not explain or particularly help. Ancient Persian Vedas[edit]

I wanted to verify if a general doctrine of reincarnation as found in the Hindu Vedas was the same as that found in the ancient Persian Vedas and turned to Wikipedia. All I find is information on the Hindu Vedas. I don't even know what the Persian Vedas were called. Could someone more knowledgeable than I add an entry at least giving the name of this other literature? Or is it the same thing? Thanks.Ermadog (talk) 08:37, 2 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Why on earth would you ask this question at "Talk:Vedic (disambiguation)"? You should try WP:RD/H. Fwiiw,

there are no "Ancient Persian Vedas" and
there is no "general doctrine of reincarnation" in the Hindu Vedas
