Please do not keep changing that page. Your wording on the eBay item says the same thing as the original, only says it much less clearly.

Also, David Williams is a notable person, and plays Magic, so will stay listed. I am not saying there shouldn't be more. Stop removing that because it is pointless. -- Netoholic @ 17:45, 2005 Feb 17 (UTC)

My wording does not say the same thing as the original. I added the part on eBay and then someone changed it claiming it was an estimate. It is NOT an estimate.

David Williams may be a notable person, but he his not a notable Magic player, certainly not in the same category as Jon Finkel and Kai Budde. Pharotek 17:54, 17 Feb 2005 (UTC)

Jon Finkel doesn't even have an article here. Look, if you disagree, raise the question on the articles Talk page. That's what it is there for. If your version truly is better, then someone else will agree. For now, stop changing it. -- Netoholic @ 18:02, 2005 Feb 17 (UTC)

Dear Netoholic, I don't want to start a war with you. I just want to help the community. I know Jon Finkel doesn’t even have a page here. I intent to create one (believe me he is considered by many the best magic player of all times. He is kind of away from the Pro Tour scene and Kai Budde is currently the best active player). I've made a change that includes more notorious players. I feel this change should please us both. Please bear with me since I'm a new user. I've registered so you wouldn't think some anonymous vandal was trying to destroy the article. I've been planning on registering for a long time, this was the push that I needed.

Best regards Pharotek 18:14, 17 Feb 2005 (UTC)

That page is already oversized. Please do not re-create the Magic: The Gathering World Championship list on this page. It is separate for a reason. -- Netoholic @ 19:09, 2005 Feb 17 (UTC)
Please also keep in mind that we have rules in place to prevent pointless back-and-forth editing. Being new, I don't expect you to know them all. You're already technically in violation of those, so please watch out. Take my advice and bring up your changes on Talk:Magic: The Gathering. -- Netoholic @ 19:16, 2005 Feb 17 (UTC)

I've stopped editing the part about eBay. I've made a last change to the famous players section so as to include a list of trully notourious magic players, and it wasn't copied from the world championship page. In fact the world championship page is copied from other websites, but I guess copywrite violations are ok, a simple user trying to help is not.

Well, the Championship page does use information from other sites as a source, but the info isn't copyrighted. I certainly appreciate you trying to help, but keep in mind for me that the article is already quite large. There is a lot to say about the game, after all. Please help keep it somewhat short, so as to be interesting and readable to others. Trivia such as all the winners is better done on separate articles dedicated for those purposes. -- Netoholic @ 21:24, 2005 Feb 17 (UTC)

You are correct. I have to give it to you, you have much better editorial skills than I do. Sorry about the harsh/sarcastic tone of my previous comment. Pharotek 21:32, 17 Feb 2005 (UTC)

Wrath of God comparison of Card Templating Pic[edit]

I just wanted to commend you for the choice of using Wrath of God to show the card template change in Magic (File:Magic old new border2). It really stands out well in your picture. — Eric Herboso 20:04, 25 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Magic grandprix logo.jpg[edit]
