Tobu pronounced To'boo is most commonly known as a Creek hardwood found on famous vessels such as Juparta and also the hulls of ships that made "The Trojan Horse"

Not much is known about its origin but it was said to be the wood from which Aphrodite (or Venus in Roman). picked the "Golden Apple".

Not to be confused with the Chinese food Tofu.
