Looking at the history of this page, one notices: 19:37, 9 Apr 2004 . . Lestatdelc (Moved content from same-sex sexual practices; left at other page temp. while page issues resolved) The same-sex sexual practices article (now moved to Homosexual practices), is listed on wikipedia:Votes for Deletion, and therefore this article, which is simply a copy of the same content, after it had been listed for deletion, is likewise covered by whatever is decided at VfD. This is not a different article, and what few deffierences there are (all added by Lestatdelc) do not currently warrant its treatment as a different article. Just wanted to point this out... 80.255 21:35, 9 Apr 2004 (UTC)

First, I didn't "move" I culled relevant text from and left intact the disputed page and created this one. Second, it is a different article as per the intended schema I had outlined in the discussion on naming conventions. It is also different in that it has been edited and changed as was intended when the shift was done. If you think this should be deleted, put it up for VfD. The reason for this article along with the attendant companion ones is in fact an attempt to reconcile all the disputed pages into distinct NPOV articles, of which all can be expanded accordingly. This is not some attempt to get around a VfD if that is what you are presuming. If you had instead of changing to a redirect asked what I was doing on my talk page I would have gladly explained what I was doing, why, and given the full rational and intended outcome of this and the related pages. If this article had any noticable difference, additional information or similar considerable difference, then fine. However, even the title, "same gender sexual practices" can only contain the same information as homosexual practices. Thus, even if you can improve this article, the two should be merged. I suggest that you move this to your user space, then make whatever changes you had in mind, replacing it in a reasonably improved form. At present it is not different enough from homosexual practices to avoid suffering the same fate. 80.255 02:01, 10 Apr 2004 (UTC)
