  • Bromeliales I tried to fix this stub, but i found that the taxonomy of the Bromeliales and their closest relatives is heavily disputed among scientists. Not being a plant taxonomist, i feel unable to do that subject justice. The article needs attention by someone knowledged in plant taxonomy. Lady Tenar 16:05, 6 Feb 2005 (UTC)

A taxon at the level of order is a box. When the box contains a single family only, nothing can be said of the plants in the order that can not be said of the plants in the family. So this is doomed to be a bare-boned entry no matter what. Quite useful as a quick reference, and as a node of links, but not otherwise. Brya 09:06, 19 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
