Bold text'"Anaru" is the Maori word for the name Andrew.The Maori are the indigenous Polynesian people of New Zealand. They are intelligent,very good at sport and musical. They have largely intermarried with the European population of New Zealand. There are about 600 thousand Maori. They came to New Zealand 900years ago from Raratonga.The Maori language is close to the Tongan language.
