Clean-up[edit]

This needs SEVERE cleanup. This might even be a copyvio. Mike H 09:30, Nov 15, 2004 (UTC)

This page is hardly intellibible. Unfortunately, I don't know enough about the show to fix it.

Fair use rationale for Image:TattleTales Logo.JPG[edit]

Image:TattleTales Logo.JPG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Tattletales on GSN[edit]

According to GSN on wikipedia it is returning to GSN in July. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.228.70.72 (talk) 02:12, 14 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

  • Not true. According to this information it's nowhere on the schedule coming up on July 21st.

Scheduling[edit]

The current edit has the correct information, based on CBS schedule information and NBC schedule information. What others may remember in certain time slots may be a different time zone or a station time shifting programming. Please do not change the information off of this, as what is in the edit indicated is what was done by NBC and CBS at the time in question. Nicholasm79 (talk) 02:40, 19 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Banana section[edit]

I suggest that the nickname of the yellow section as the "banana section" is NOT fancruft. I think it's perfectly acceptable to mention this in the article. It was called this on many, many episodes on the show. Nicholasm79 (talk) 02:56, 2 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Just because it has does not always mean that it is not fancruft. WikiLubber (talk) 03:48, 2 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

But since you think otherwise, I did you a little favor and re-added it. WikiLubber (talk) 03:51, 2 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Episode lists[edit]

Please stop adding unsourced episode lists to the Tattletales article. Lists of game show episodes do not meet guidelines in WP:EPISODE (specifically, content "must still be notable, and contain out-of-universe context, and not merely be a list of episode titles or cast and crew: Wikipedia is not a directory.")

This is not a television series with fictional plot synopses that is appropriate to be chronicled within an article, and the specific details of results from a television game show episode do not meet WP:GNG. This content falls under WP:LISTCRUFT. AldezD (talk) 19:23, 21 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, the episodes are properly sourced as you can clearly see. Not sure why you would just make that up. And the content is notable in that it lists which public celebrities appeared on there. While it appears you enjoy removing content from Wikipedia, this is pretty clearly appropriate content to be chronicled and isn't hurting anyone. It is also clear you are edit warring and reverting a third time will result in a violation of 3RR (three revert rule). Udar55 (talk) 21:00, 21 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
TV.com is not a site that meets WP:V. Episodes of game shows do not meet WP:GNG nor WP:EPISODE. These episodes have not "received significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject." Also, Wikipedia is not a directory, and this is merely a list of celebrity guests on a daily television program. This content is WP:LISTCRUFT.
You have been presented with multiple WP guidelines which clearly state why this content is not appropriate for the article. In your response, you merely state your opinion without providing any type of refutable argument against the community guidelines presented to you. Please stop adding this listcruft to the article.
