Untitled[edit]

As an aside, from what I could tell from the show's muddled storyline, Jett isn't a super-agent - he's an actor starring as one. Big difference. Can anyone confirm this? Well, I don't think it'll matter anyway, because this show SUCKS. *hopes this isn't NPOVed* :-p --Johnleemk 09:18, 29 Feb 2004 (UTC)

Some of the episodes are better than others, but overall, it's one of Disney Channel's better series (not that that's saying all that much, mind, but still). Anyway, yes, Silverstone is a show-within-a-show. This is most obvious from, uh - no offense but DUH - the opening credits/introduction/prologue sequence on every single episode of the TV series, where Jett's talking about how he got the show moved back to his home town. That, and the episode where he's set to star in the school's rendition of Shakespeare's Julius Caesar, until everyone realizes that Jett's actually a crappy and melodramatic actor on stage, because as it turns out he usually takes about a million takes to get something right even on film (this would be one of those "better episodes" I was speaking of, if only for how ridiculously bad he was as Caeser, which was amusing). Hi. I think the question you answered here, from 2004, was written back when the text of the article itself was unclear on the whole show-within-a-show thing. By the way, if you have any material to improve the article, feel free to add it. I haven't seen The Famous Jett Jackson in several years, so to anything more I would need to research online. The episodes I remember liking were the one about uncovering the truth about a shantytown fire, and the baseball one with Eartha Kitt. Karen | Talk | contribs 04:11, 6 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Assessment[edit]

I've rated this as Start class rather than B because there isn't much info on the characters, nor much detail on the premise of Silverstone. If someone who knows the show can fill in these areas a bit, I think we're pretty close to B class. Karen | Talk | contribs 00:44, 30 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Reruns[edit]

Will Disney XD rerun it in 2009 or 2010? 07:24, 25 December 2008 (EST) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.163.129.93 (talk)
