Why do you go by such a name?? Visit the Thirteenth floor article. What do you think of it?? 66.245.11.49 00:48, 12 May 2004 (UTC)[reply]

The article was very imformative. I go by this name becuase 13 is my lucky number (I'm sort of like an anti-triskadekaphobic), and well... because I couldn't really think of much else at the time. By the way, what's your username?

Change stubbing to listing??[edit]

You have changed the stubbing to listing in List of flags with black. Please note that there are 5 more articles similar to this, which are for the colors blue, red, white, yellow, and green. 66.245.110.129 01:06, 14 May 2004 (UTC)[reply]

  • Thank you, Thirteen 13, for doing exactly what I asked you to do. Will these pages become complete by August 2004?? 66.245.110.129 01:09, 14 May 2004 (UTC)[reply]

Feedback[edit]

Why couldn't you just write 4 tildes rather than writing your name?? It will look like your name with a link and the date of signing. 66.245.110.129 01:11, 14 May 2004 (UTC)[reply]

You know, politeness can be useful in a community like this. I don't know for sure if "messy peoply leave bullet points" as the edit summary on HGH quackery is meant as an insult or just your shorthand for the edit, but I wanted to point out that being polite (especially about minor things) can build your own reputation in the community. My apologies if I misunderstood your comment and yes, my bad on the bullet point. I would have fixed it too. No hard feelings and best wishes on your continuted involvement in Wikipedia. Before nominating Justin King for speedy deletion, you might want to look over Wikipedia:Candidates for speedy deletion. Yours, Meelar 20:26, 16 May 2004 (UTC)[reply]

Further, as I have discussed with User:Meelar and on the Discussion page I have removed what may be termed "opinonated" and presented only facts. H1523702 20:51, 16 May 2004 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for getting back to me. As you may have read in the talk page, I don't have any opinion of King yet, its too early in his time as CEO of Sainsbury's to rate his performance. The addition of the label "Justin Time" (a quote from commentary) could however be mistaken for approval and we can both agree that it was right to remove it. FYI, your edit summary caused me to become unnecessarily defensive, the NPOV query below it was a more constructive comment. No hard feelings, H1523702 00:11, 18 May 2004 (UTC)[reply]

I noticed that you nominated Maid of the Mist for speedy deletion. It doesn't appear to meet the criteria. An article isn't a candidate for deletion just because it needs more work. Newly written articles are often in need of work and part of the wiki philosophy is that if there is an article, however poorly written, those who read it will be tempted to improve it. You should probably consider the use of Wikipedia:Cleanup instead if the topic is valid and the initial text provides some basic information about the subject. This also goes for Water jet rapids, Flight of the angels and Cave of the winds. Poor articles, yes, but most certainly not candidates for speedy deletion. Please be careful of what you label as such, thanks! Tom- 23:37, 31 May 2004 (UTC)[reply]
