The anomalous phenomenon article could become a home for the May 19 1780 event: 'Never-explained complete darkness, in Eastern Canada and the New England states at 2 pm.', which Benjamin Franklin hypothesized came from volcanic eruptions in Iceland. But right now this article is too heavily slanted toward the paranormal. Any other articles where this event could be placed? Ancheta Wis 13:19, 28 Mar 2004 (UTC)

Calendar[edit]

65.5.128.20 has added the day of each event in the Events section. The day is given according to the Gregorian Calendar, or Proleptic Gregorian Calendar for dates prior to the calendar changes. I suspect some of the event dates are Julian Calendar dates, therefore the day is wrong in these cases. I'm trying to confirm some of the dates as being Julian or Gregorian. In the mean time, what's the view on having the day indicated? My personal view is that we shouldn't have it in this particular area of Wikipedia. Arcturus 21:59, 8 Aug 2004 (UTC)
