The history of Salerno seems to be a copy, complete with spelling and grammatical mistakes, of a number of websites including http://www.salernocity.com/turismo/Salernostorica/Introduzione/default_ing.asp

The dates need cleaning up: "The Goths were defeated by the Greeks whose domination lastes 15 years (from 53 to 568)" 53to 568 is 515 years, not 15. Or do they mean the 15 years from 553 to 568? --Robinspw 07:50, 22 Apr 2005 (UTC)

A large battle occured during World War II called the Battle of Salerno, this article mentions nothing about it. Dan Kieffer 16:13, 24 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

There is a church SS. Crucifisso in piazza Matteotti in the mediaeval area, its crypt contains two vii-viii frescoes. From the crypt there is also a secret tunnel that goes all the way to castel Arecchi, though it's not now accessible. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Computatioi (talkcontribs) 10:31, 18 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Would it be worth adding the Sacred Family chapel to the list of churches? It is a modernist/brutalist building of some note; designed by Paolo Portoghesi in the late 1960s and built, I believe, by 1974 - making it one of the first of a wave of such churches constructed after Vatican II.
