Bwahaha!!![edit]

I love it :-) "He is not to fight excessively". I'll have to bear that one in mind next time I edit Historicity of Jesus... Ta bu shi da yu 23:38, 24 Dec 2004 (UTC)

Oberwiki[edit]

Is that still up and running?

I suppose by now you've noticed that it is, indeed, still up and running. --alxndr 17:34, 10 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the invitation to contribute, but I'm already wasting more time than I should on Wikipedia, including on the Oberlin page, and some of its alumni. By the way, when I tracked down your personal page there and saw your name, I couldn't help but jump to the conclusion that you are related to Willard, especially given the Oberlin legacy. Is that the case? Matchups 02:36, 26 March 2006 (UTC) P.S. I'm not related to Anne, Barney, Reuven, or any other famous Frank.[reply]

I'm planning to split out the list of notable Oberlin alumni to a separate page and leave only a short list of "very notable" folks on the main page. Opinions are eagerly sought at the talk page as to who are the most notable. Thanks! Matchups 04:29, 30 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Chris Eldridge[edit]

I just noticed that you added (quite some time ago) Chris Eldridge of the Stringdusters to the notable Obies list. Those are both red links, and the facts that he graduated just recently and attended contemporaneously with you suggest that perhaps he was added as a bit of friendly hopefulness, rather than because he has already achieved an adequate measure of notability. Somewhat belatedly, I searched the web, and found that he is indeed notable. So how about doing him and the band justice and backing up the links with articles? And maybe motivating me to do the same for the more-evidently notable Stephen Zunes. Matchups 01:29, 28 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thought you might want to know about this, it has the same goals as Wikipedia:WikiProject Photography, but is better organized. If you have any questions, please contact me on my talk page. --Gphototalk 19:20, 30 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Untagged image[edit]

An image you uploaded, Image:Bethel-CT-Town-Seal.jpg, was tagged with the {{coatofarms}} copyright tag. This tag was deleted because it does not actually specify the copyright status of the image. The image may need a more accurate copyright tag, or it may need to be deleted. If the image portrays a seal or emblem, it should be tagged as {{seal}}. If you have any questions, ask them at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. -- 12:15, 30 December 2006 (UTC)

Image Copyright problem

This is an automated message from a robot. You have recently uploaded Image:Bethel-CT-Town-Seal.jpg. The file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 16:38, 12 September 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. If you believe you received this message in error, please notify the bot's owner. Connecticut county photo requests[edit]

I saw your name at Wikipedians/Photographers. FYI, the photo requests at Category:Wikipedia requested photographs in Connecticut have been sorted into Counties to make it easier to locate the place of the requested photo. GregManninLB (talk) 06:44, 23 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for November 17[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Neuraxis, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Vesicle. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
