Multiplicity of stable isotopes[edit]

The Periodic 5 element section of the table is where the individual elements are able to each have the maximum number of stable isotopes. Although the first oddZ start out with very few, or none in the case of 43Tc Technetium, The evenZ are noted to have a large number. 50Sn Tin has 10 and 54Xe Xenon has nine and 48Cd Cadmium and 52Te Tellurium have 8. 54Xe Xenon only misses being stable at Atomic number 127 by a slight margin of stability compared to 53I Iodine (I=-88903 vs Xe=-88321),`which permits the stability and thus existence of 53I Iodine's only stable isotope. At the end of the period 5 elements, the stability of the isotopes is noted to be reduced in quantity for about 5 element numbers leading up the monisotopic element 59Pr Praseodymium and later with 61Pm Promethium. which has no stable isotopes.WFPM (talk) 22:25, 22 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
