Calebcharles, hi, this is Shuffdog; very slick editing on my Churrascaria page, thanks. i like the clean-up and the separation of ideas. however - what did you mean when you wrote, "They have enjoyed increased popularity as of 2004"? I left it in, supposing that you might clarify.
I'll explain myself, too. I was down in Brazil all this past month, and reported on what i thought was an excellent type of restaurant. a quick google search brings up lots of churrascarias in the States, and my friend from Boston confirms that those restaurants exist in the brazilian part of town. is this legitimate for a wikipedia article? Or typically do you need something more solid? I feel 100% comfortable that what is written is true, either way.

Aha, i got 'hooked' just recently, too. Sometimes i wonder what this project will amount to in the long run, and what it all means. But anyway. Churrascarias, as far as i can tell, have been around a while. If popularity were mentioned, maybe its popularity outside South America would be more pertinent since, from my experience, a Churrascaria there is like a burger joint here in the US. it's been popular forever there. And, if you're ever down south there, off the record, you DONT want to pass up a chance to eat at one, they're excellent ;) keep it real.
