Old talk[edit]

There's a contradiction in this page. As explained in cassiterite, this mineral isn't fit for extracting iron from, but tin. One cannot correct this not knowing what kind of ore is actually extracted near Kigali. Is it some form of iron one (hematite, magnetite or something alike), tin ore or both? Amorim Parga 18:29, 28 Mar 2004 (UTC)

I can find no reference (save for clones of this article on other websites) for Iron deposits in Rwanda, only gold, cassiterite (tin ore) and wolframite (tungsten ore). So, I've changed the Iron ore to Tin ore which matches Cassiterite. If anyone knows better please revert / change. CheekyMonkey 13:12, 21 Aug 2004 (UTC)

Another contradiction: In 1907, Rwanda was under German rule, not under Belgian rule.

Kigali's Hills[edit]

The geography section of this page makes reference to the urban part of Kigali being layed out on approximately four hills and their corresponding valleys. Are any of these hills named? Which hill does the government reside on and which does the central business district sit atop? It would be good to know exactly where the city center sits in relation to the three districts of the city. There needs to be a better description of the physical geography of the city because I've yet to find a modern map of the city that could be consulted. --Criticalthinker (talk) 03:37, 9 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Image[edit]

Ha ha, my 2006 image of Centenary House and BCDI tower (taken from the Bel Air restaurant while I was enjoying a good spread of Rwandan carbs, meat and green aubergine) bites the dust. Fair play though it pretty old, and the new one shows several tall buildings that didn't exist at all back then!  — Amakuru (talk) 20:07, 17 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Population[edit]

Text says over a million. Sidebar says 142,000. Which is it? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 97.82.224.161 (talk) 13:27, 13 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
