Ascendancy award

Hello,

I see that back in 2005 you updated the Ascendancy page and noted that Ascendancy was awarded "Best Strategy Software of 1996 by PC Gamer". I am trying to find a reference for this. Do you know in which issue the award was given? I see in a November 1995 review William Trotter said "Ascendancy is strategy game of the year" (see here), but I'm wondering if that is something different from the award you mentioned.

I just realized that the Nov 1995 PC Gamer review gave Ascendancy the "PC Gamer Editor's Choice award", so I have updated the article to say that. If you know where the "Best Strategy Software" award came from that would still be great. --Culix (talk) 17:11, 5 December 2010 (UTC)
