Talk:Hinduism/Reference

This page is acting as the References section from the Hinduism article. Currently, there is only one citation (see the opening section and the statement "world's oldest religious scripture"), but as more work is done on the article, more citations will be added.

This should not be deleted. --LordSuryaofShropshire 15:17, Apr 2, 2004 (UTC)

References should be cited at the end of the article, rather than placing a "Go to References" link near the bottom (see Wikipedia:Cite your sources for Wikipedia's proposed citation style). So the contents of this page should be moved to Hinduism under a ==References== section, and this page should be deleted. --Diberri 15:58, Apr 2, 2004 (UTC)
If you want the references on a separate page for some reason, it would be best to put them in the talk namespace as this is not an article. For example, Talk:Hinduism/References. Angela. 16:35, Apr 2, 2004 (UTC)

Actually, I was at a loss for which style was most appropriate, and my ability to format on this particular medium (i.e. Not Word!) is limited. It looks very good, and I thank you for that. Now another question, is there any way to create an internal link (within the Hinduism page) that, when clicked, would run to the bottom of the page, to the references section? --LordSuryaofShropshire 17:17, Apr 2, 2004 (UTC)

Yes, from within the article you can do link to references section ([[#References|link to references section]]), outside the artilce you need to add the article title as well link to references section ([[Hinduism#References|link to references section]]). Dori | Talk 17:23, Apr 2, 2004 (UTC)
