Electro-stub[edit]

Hi ElectraFlarefire - Not an insult, more of a comment... I note you';ve created a new stub category. Did you realise that stub categories should normally be cleared by Wikipedia:WikiProject Stub sorting before creation? That way they can be vetted to check that there are a viable number of stubs (at least 60-100) and that the category does not cross the existing stub hierarchy before the stub is created. In th case of electro-stub it looks okay (at least as far as the second point is concerned), but if you're planning to make any moe categories, we'd like to know first! Oh, and if you're interested in helping sort stubs, we're always looking for new members of the project! Grutness|hello? 09:30, 21 Apr 2005 (UTC)

Hi again - you wrote: Sorry for adding the sub out of term, thanks for your message to tell me how to do it correctly. I've added it to the Wikipedia:WikiProject_Stub_sorting/Criteria page and I won't continue to re-classify subs until I get some sort of conformation that I can.
I saw your note there... personally, I think there shouldn't be much problem with this one (it's some of those that are clearly never going to have many stubs that are the real problem). You've probably got more chance of this being accepted if you can show there's a need for it, though, so I wouldn't stop finding things to categories in it. A category with 40-50 stubs is far less likely to warrant deletion than one with only four or five! Make sure that the ones you find wouldn't better fit into one of the other tech categories though. Orphaned non-free media (Image:Australian 5note back.jpg)[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Australian 5note back.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Image copyright problem with Image:Australian 100note back.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Australian 100note back.jpg. You've indicated that the image is being used under a claim of fair use, but you have not provided an adequate explanation for why it meets Wikipedia's requirements for such images. In particular, for each page the image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for each article the image is used in.
  • That every article it is used on is linked to from its description page.

The following images also have this problem:
