Hello Lordedmund and welcome to Wikipedia! Hope you like it here, and stick around.

Here are some tips to help you get started:

Good luck!

Images[edit]

You have to download images in order to use them on Wikipedia -- you can't link to outside images. Also, please DO NOT download images which you DO NOT KNOW are free of copyright. RickK 22:31, Jul 13, 2004 (UTC)

Image tag[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Picture 002.png. I notice it currently doesn't have an image copyright tag. Could you add one to let us know its copyright status? (You can use {{gfdl}} if you release it under the GFDL, or {{fairuse}} if you claim fair use, etc.) If you don't know what any of this means, just let me know where you got the images and I'll tag them for you. Thanks so much, Aqua 23:24, Dec 30, 2004 (UTC)

PS If in the future you could use a more descriptive file name, that'd be great. Thanks.

Fair use rationale for Image:Picture 1.JPG[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Picture 1.JPG. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. —Angr 21:50, 13 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
