Yeah, but wouldn't the conventions of Wikipedia (where I assumed it was 'theater') override? I'd be happy either way. Besides, with redirects it hardly matters. :) ZviGilbert 02:03, 23 Nov 2003 (UTC)

The convention is simply to use the most common spelling. In articles about a specific country, it's usual to use the spelling common in that country (whether that means theatre or theater in this case, I don't know - Canadian spelling not my strong suit :) --Camembert
