"Invincibles"[edit]

Do such creatures exist?[edit]

Is there relevancy to the term Invincibles as it may apply to a generation

or sub generation of young Americans? I am thinking of young professionals likened to Yuppies of recent times, yet rendered a new "edge" for historical reasons of economics, prevailing politics, etc.

These Invincibles might have been thought of as "Gen X'ers" because they were

told by Baby Boomer parents they could accomplish anything, a heady viewpoint in the aftermath of WW2 when the United States dominated the world economy. So-called "Gen Y'ers" generally suffer from an anonymity complex, many wishing for fame or chasing it through newly-offered multimedia opportunities. --/jet/ 06:31, 21 March 2007 (UTC)
