Welcome![edit]

Hi Corto, and a warm welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you have enjoyed editing as much as I did so far and decide to stay. Unfamiliar with the features and workings of Wikipedia? Don't fret! Be Bold! Here's some good links for your reference and that'll get you started in no time!

Most Wikipedians would prefer to just work on articles of their own interest. But if you have some free time to spare, here are some open tasks that you may want to help out :

  • RC Patrol - Keeping a lookout for vandalism.
  • Cleanup - Help make unreadable articles readable.
  • Requests - Wanted on WP, but hasn't been created.
  • Merge - Combining duplicate articles into one.
  • Wikiprojects - So many to join, so many to choose from...Take your pick!

Oh yes, don't forget to sign when you write on talk pages, simply type four tildes, like this: ~~~~. This will automatically add your name and the time after your comments. And finally, if you have any questions or doubts, don't hesitate to contact me on my talk page. Once again, welcome! =)

Invitation[edit]

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia! Seeing your edits, I guess that you are Argentine, if you are, c'mon join us at WikiProject Argentina. Also you may like to know that Wikipedia has a small but constantly growing Argentine community, if you want to include yourself in our noble ranks =D add this in your user page: [[Category:Wikipedians of Argentina|Corto]] . Goodbye! --OneEuropeanHeart 03:27, 23 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Your edit to India[edit]

Hello, I noticed your edit summary of "rvv", which usually means "reverted vandalism." However, the edit you reverted does not appear to be vandalism. Please see Wikipedia:Vandalism for more information on what vandalism is, and what vandalism is not. In the future, please do not describe another editor's edits as vandalism in your edit summary when their edit does not fit Wikipedia's definition of vandalism. Some editors could be offended by this and it could deter them from contributing to Wikipedia. Thanks for your understanding. Accurizer 15:35, 3 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hello again, please ignore the above. I have since had reason to revisit this article's history and found that you were reverting vandalism but also reverted another editor's changes that were made seconds prior to your edit. Sorry for the misunderstanding. Accurizer 15:40, 3 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Argentina edits[edit]

Silly misunderstanding: I didn't see the removed pipe (|), you didn't see the lost Estimated populatio. I see you fix it now. Good wikng, --Mariano(t/c) 02:12, 30 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I am sorry Corto I did not, I must have misread what they added I thought they just moved it and added more pictures. I will change it now. Thanks, Good wiking,!(XGustaX 23:26, 15 May 2007 (UTC))[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
