What is the benefits of touch screen compare to mouse?

Mice gets dirty and wears out more easily. Then again, large touch screens are surceptible to the gorilla arm phemonenon.

I'd like to remove all the current external links for this record. The first five are just links to commercial companies that happen to sell touchscreens. The last one is a link to the official Nintendo DS site. Yes, the DS has a touchscreen. Do we really need a link to a general page about it?

I think it is essential to move the two words, touch & screen into one word and to merge the two wiki pages into one named touchscreen. Later on, in a year or five we'll also have to do the same for the words touch & terminal, I'll venture. GeneMosher
