Query re 1988 - Anna Svidersky, girl from MySpace who was murdered[edit]

Is this a legitimate entry for the birth page? Hardly seems noteworthy to me but I am not knowledgeable of the subject material/relevance. I propose deletion on this page (but keep the article if justified) - thoughts? Thanks, Hu Gadarn 22:10, 28 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Not improtant enough a person for their birth to be on this article; her birth is not notable. Lkjhgfdsa 0 (talk) 20:41, 29 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Which is correct?[edit]

Joey Jordison is listed here as 26 April, 1976, but his article says he was born on 26 April 1975.

I've changed it to 1975 per his page. Fabricationary 01:41, 1 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Reference to Sublime song[edit]

A user made reference to a Sublime song believing it to be called "April 26, 1992", when in actuality it is called "April 29, 1992 (Miami)" which deals with the 1992 Los Angeles Riots - which began on April 29 of 1992.

I removed the Rodney King Riots reference, since the 92 riots actually took place on the 29th onward, not the 26th. DumberDrummer (talk) 09:02, 10 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Shakespeare[edit]

From Kara: I added Shakespeare's christened date and in parentheses I added that this was not his birthdate. This I learned in my English class and I thought someone might want to know that piece of information. 70.241.201.34 00:23, 2 April 2007 (UTC)Kara[reply]

Births and deaths section[edit]

The births and deaths sections in most Date articles have become unmanageably large. In accordance with the guidelines, I'm continuing to weed these by removing entries for celebrities with 0-4 articles in other languages. Where possible, these have been transferred to the relevant Year in Topic articles. As well as making the lists more manageable, this will help with the globalization effort.Deb (talk) 20:00, 25 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Semi-protected edit request on 27 April 2019[edit]

Under Events, the sentence "People's Daily publishes the April 26 Editorial which inflames the nascent Tiananmen Square protests" is missing a period at the end. 65.126.95.130 (talk) 03:33, 27 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Rudolph Hess description[edit]

Under Births - "Egyptian-German politician". Do we have a problem with writing "Nazi politician", or Deputy Fuhrer of Third Reich or similar? GraemeLeggett (talk) 15:31, 26 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Confederate Memorial Day - Florida[edit]

The article does not say it is celebrated in Florida on April 26, just that the 'holiday' commemorates an event on April 26. The article has a list of states that have this 'holiday', but none of them mention April 26.Some of them mention the last Monday of April, but we don't modify these articles every year to accommodate such things --142.163.195.187 (talk) 15:12, 23 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
