Why remove the description of the characters Hosuke Sharaku, Ahill, Chiyoko Wato and Pinoko? Fafner 06:21, 27 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]

They are not part of the system, I was mistaken. Noticed it after looking through Tezuka's website. Purple Rose 14:04, 30 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]
What's the "system" part of this? Is this page referring to the Omega Factor game, or comic book guest stars and cameos, primarily? 惑乱 分からん 11:33, 23 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

On my additions to the Star System[edit]

After going through the English portion of TezukaOsamu@World and the section on the Star system, I noticed that there were quite a few characters that Tezuka enjoyed using whenever possible who were not mentioned at all on this page.

After going through the Star System and finding all the characters that had their own page, I added links to those characters here on the list.

In addition to the "Stars" that appear frequently and often, there's also the major stars that deserve recognition due to their popularity and that they are the stars, or co-stars, of their own manga.

Examples include: Pinoko (Black Jack's surrogate daughter) Wato Chiyoko (Sharaku, Hosuke's guardian and friend) Unico (Star of a manga that used his own name)

...and then some!

I'm going to try to make this list as definitive as I can so it can work alongside the [Category:Osamu Tezuka characters] page.

Hopefully, this will all come together quite well.

big merge[edit]

I think that almost all of the entries here should be merged into this article with their named de-wikified, with only the really exceptional ones (like Astro Boy) linking to their own articles. I wanted to post this intention here first, however, in case anyone has any objections to it. If there aren't any objections within the next few days, I'll go ahead and do it. Elephun[edit]

Ochanomizu(Elephun) is not creator of Astro Boy. Depending of the version he either meets a fully functional Astro Boy created by Tenma, or he finishes the last work on an Astro Boy made by dr. Tenma. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 212.242.163.84 (talk) 19:30, 24 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

That's right, I changed "Creator" to "Mentor". That seems more adequate to me, but feel free to change it if you see more adequate terms. Fafner (talk) 09:21, 25 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Single source issue[edit]

I notice that a reference has been added and my redirect undone, okay that's fine but can anyone provide additional sources here rather than the one primary source? If sources cant be found I will place this up for AfD. - Knowledgekid87 (talk) 01:36, 15 February 2015 (UTC) I added 2 links to the main Tezuka sources on the net featuring Tezuka Character Star System info Draivika (talk) 00:22, 13 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hosuke Sharaku[edit]

While Sharaku is the main villain in Omega Factor, Tezuka passed away in 1989, 15 years before the release of Omega Factor so he himself could not have reused Sharaku. Please reword to be more specific. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.36.195.185 (talk) 05:08, 5 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
