This article needs updating. Phrases such as "The next round of legislative elections are scheduled to take place in 2002" and "as of 31 December, 1990" make little babies cry. Quadell (talk) 16:02, May 27, 2004 (UTC)

Abdelaziz Bouteflika[edit]

this is gay by the coolest person is the worldthe Abdelaziz Bouteflika says that he is an independent, but one table here says that he is a national liberation front member and another says he is a National Rally for democracy member. This seems like three different parties for the same person. How is this possible? M i c 21:02, 2 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Important notice[edit]

The government section of the "Outline of Algeria" needs to be checked, corrected, and completed -- especially the subsections for the government branches.

When the country outlines were created, temporary data (that matched most of the countries but not all) was used to speed up the process. Those countries for which the temporary data does not match must be replaced with the correct information.

Please check that this country's outline is not in error.

Problem of neutrality[edit]

The "informal power" section as well as the introductory section have huge neutrality problems. I think that in my opinion, it would be better to describe the actual political functioning as it is institutionalized and then comment on what political analysts think independent of any foreign ideological influence. Similarly, some data such as the constitutional revision of 2020 and the new electoral law are not taken into account. It is a mixture of data that is at least a decade old and modern touches here and there. Tarek lb (talk) 16:03, 11 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
