Talk:R (James Bond)

R is NOT the official rank or title given to John Cleese's character. It was Bond that called him that as a joke (R being the next letter after Q)! And yes, he was called R in the credits, but that's only because his real rank or title was never mentioned so we, the audience, needed something to call him!

Having said that, I'm not sure what to do for the best regarding this page. Delete it as it's wrong? Amend it, but does it really need a page on it's own?

Maybe someone can suggest something ...?

It looks like the above concerns have been addressed, however I believe this page should be deleted or merged with Q (James Bond) as it duplicates information already there. 23skidoo 20:11, 1 Dec 2004 (UTC)
