DMA Controller unused?[edit]

Its my understanding that the DMA controller chip that's integral to the OEM memory expansion card in the 1000 machines doesn't actually provide any DMA function in these machines. The DMA chip only exists to provide refresh signals to the DRAM chips onboard the card - the DMA features being unimplemented. If this can be verified, it warrants editing the article.
