Silly me, it's because the category tag is added automatically by the template Template:Footy-stub. ⇒ whkoh [talk] 09:48, Nov 18, 2004 (UTC)

Call for volunteers: I've created a new stub category for biographies of football players. Think we could move all those football bio-stubs into that category? Thanks! :) Dale Arnett 01:25, 14 Mar 2005 (UTC)

In a similar vein, please make sure that any stubs about English clubs use {{eng-club-stub}} rather than {{footy-stub}} or even {{stub}} Tompw 17:10, 14 Mar 2005 (UTC)
