Submitter admits the word to be his own creation [1]. "Has anyone ever used the wikipedia (http://wikipedia.org) ? If a word doesn't exist, and you think it should, you can just add it, like I did with quorange (http://www.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quorange). :D " This could be interpreted as "if the word doesn't already have an article on Wikipedia" but I'm suspicious when I Google for a word and the first fifty results are all mirrors of the Wikipedia article. -- Antaeus Feldspar 21:06, 26 Oct 2004 (UTC)

  • Delete. Cute; the article admits its neologistic nature describing neologisms in abstract encyclopedic terms. Ian Pugh 21:45, 26 Oct 2004 (UTC)

  • Delete. Clever. Someone should also delete all of the Wikipedia references, such as on Nonce word--if the Quorange page is deleted. Good find, Mr. Feldspar! Good eyes, and congratulations. ---Rednblu | Talk 00:23, 27 Oct 2004 (UTC)

  • Delete. We have an article on strange loops under Douglas Hofstadter, and there's already a word to rhyme with orange (sporange), invalidating the reason to create one. Inky 03:28, 27 Oct 2004 (UTC)

  • I get the shivers when I think of the submitter exhorting everyone to stick their nonce words on Wikipedia. Anyway, Tom Lehrer had no trouble rhyming 'orange' without inventing new words: "Eating an orange / while making love / Makes for a bizarre enj- / oyment thereof." (I think I stumbled on that one in Hofstadter's Le Ton Beau de Marot). Oh, and delete, of course, though I'm going to apply Hanlon's Razor and assume (misguided) good faith. • Delete. I'm ashamed to see someone from the Boards soing something so idiotic, but its not unexpected, the Boards are notorious over here for a reason... Kiand 00:55, 28 Oct 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete. Nonce word. Besides, if you can't find a rhyme for "orange" it's pretty lame to invent one. Orange, orange, boe-borange, bonana fanna foe-forange, fee fie mo morange, orange! [[User:Dpbsmith|Dpbsmith (talk)]] 01:58, 30 Oct 2004 (UTC)
