Amusingly, the announcer during the Kreml years was named [Joseph Bell]

Currently "broad (and web-) cast" on wnar am radio in Lansdale PA and via wnar-am.com, in case anyone's interested.

According to the CD collection released by Simon & Schuster Audio (2004~2005), there were only 213 episodes produced in the 8 years on the air. This article states there were 220. Perhaps someone could cite a reliable source? ~ Agvulpine (talk) 09:58, 16 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

It should be mentioned that The New Adventures of Sherlock Holmes: Original Stories by Eminent Mystery Writers is sometimes listed as The New Adventures of Sherlock Holmes allowing it to be confused with the radio show. It was published to mark 100th anniversary of Sherlock Holmes' first appearance with stories by Stephen King (The Doctors Case), Michael Gilbert (Two Footmen), John Lutz (The Infernal Machine), Edward D. Hoch (The Return of the Speckled Band), Dorothy B. Hughes (Sherlock Holmes and the Muffin), Peter Lovesey (The Curious Computer), Lillian de la Torre (The Adventure of the Persistent Marksman), John Gardner (Moriarty and the Real Underworld), and others.--2606:A000:7D44:100:6901:57EB:ABC:DBD (talk) 22:49, 26 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
