Welcome!

Hello, Chinfo, Welcome to Wikipedia!
I hope you like working here and want to continue. If you need help on how to name new articles, look at Naming Conventions, and for help on formatting the pages visit the Manual of Style. If you need general help, look at Help and the FAQ, and if you can't find your answer there, check the Village pump (for Wikipedia related questions) or the Reference Desk (for general questions). There's still more help at the Tutorial and the Policy Library. Also, don't forget to visit the Community Portal — and if you have any more questions after that, feel free to post them on my New-Users' Talk Page.
Additional tips:
Here are some extra tips to help you get around Wikipedia:
  • If you want to play around with your new Wiki skills, try the Sandbox.
  • Click on the Edit button on a page, and look at how other editors did what they did.
  • You can sign your name using three tildes, like this: ~~~. If you use four, you can add a datestamp too. Always sign comments on Talk pages, never sign Articles.
  • You might want to add yourself to the New User Log
  • If your first language isn't English, try Wikipedia:Contributing to articles outside your native language
Happy editing!

Waterloo order of battle[edit]

Hi, I've just added a "prettytable" template to the article - hope you like it! I'll try and get the rest of the article finished soon. Great work with the OOB! Take care. SoLando (Talk) 18:16, 19 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

  • Excellent; but since you've started it, you've got to do the whole page!Hehe.--Chinfo 03:25, 20 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Bravo Fleet Edit[edit]

Good job on that one. Not just because of the things you removed, but the re-organisations you did (such as the history) read much better now. -Hayter 20:37, 29 October 2005 (UTC)

Filipino Wikipedia[edit]

Hi Chinfo, I was passing by your user page and your comment about wanting "a Filipino section of Wikipedia created in the near future" caught my eye. On the off chance that you don't know, there is a Tagalog Wikipedia as well. I noticed that there was no User:Chinfo there, so thought I'd drop you a line and make sure. Cebuano Wikipedia[edit]

Bay,

I've noticed that you have Cebuano as one of your languages in your userbox. I would like to invite you participate in the Cebuano Wikipedia community. The community is quite small at this time (only 2 or 3 users actively contributing, but they are very active -- 1,300+ pages already!).

Hi, Thanks for uploading this, However if this is a US Government sourced image you might want to change the tag.

If it is your image,

Thank you for uploading images/media to Wikipedia! There is however another Wikimedia foundation project called Wikimedia Commons, a central media repository for all free media. In the future, please consider creating an account and uploading media there instead. That way, all the other language Wikipedias can use them too, as well as our many sister projects. This will also allow our visitors to search for, view and use our media in one central location. If you wish to move previous uploads to Commons, see Wikipedia:Moving images to the Commons. Please note that non-free content, such as images claimed as fair use, cannot be uploaded to the Wikimedia Commons. Thanks again, and please continue uploading!

Waterloo OOB[edit]

You were saying a few years back that you have casualty figures for the OOB of Waterloo. Are these available, as the article is still sadly incomplete? Rich Farmbrough, 09:56, 24 May 2011 (UTC).[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
