Genre discussion[edit]

What is the problem of classifying this album as thrash, death and black metal? It was released at the development of these genres and it was, and is, influential to bands in ALL of them. To deny is is to deny its real impact and relevance.

Merge proposal[edit]

Support merge. This is stub & is barely accurate. The song was sung by Max Cavalera, not some friend of the band. Max barely knew any English at the time & that is why the song sounds choppy, because he wrote the lyrics from a Portuguese to English Dictionary. Strong support for the merge. I have already removed the 'fans find it amusing' bit as unencyclopedic. The bit about Venom records is relevant to the article about the EP, but not the song itself. However the above poster is incorrect that Max performs "The Curse"... from the booklet you refer to: [quoting Igor Cavalera] ""One thing I remember is that we had one of our friends come and do the voice for the intro ('The Curse') because he would do that voice without effects--he was kind of burping in a way.
